wings of love (reflection pillows)

“You were born with wings. Why prefer to crawl through life?”
~Rumi

(Trio of wing reflection pillows. one side of the wing has a verse the over holds a altered bone bead with a word of reflection tucked in a lace pocket.)

“We are each of us in this world an angel with only one wing. In order to fly we must embrace each other.”
~Lucretius

("thy heart " is a altered bone bead that can be removed from its lace pocket, fresh watter pearls and garnets embellish the front and back of the wing)

“The reason birds can fly and we can't is simply that they have perfect faith, for to have faith is to have wings”
~James Matthew Barrie

Something opens our wings. Something makes boredom and hurt disappear. Someone fills the cup in front of us: We taste only sacredness.
~Rumi

"Honor, glory, might, and merth, Thine shall ever be."

(side view of lace pocket on wing.)

i thank you God for most this amazing…

i thank You God for most this amazing

day:for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky;and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes
(i who have died am alive again today,
and this is the sun’s birthday;this is the birth
day of life and love and wings:and of the gay
great happening illimitably earth)
how should tasting touching hearing seeing
breathing any–lifted from the no
of all nothing–human merely being
doubt unimaginable You?
(now the ears of my ears awake and
now the eyes of my eyes are opened)
~e.e. cummings

"The secret of my life to learn."

I am happy that you all like the wings... I was toying with this idea in my head and was happy how they come out :)

Kelly these are not the ornaments... now that would be cheating if I posted the pic of them !
(but I will tell you that wings much like these are attached to some thing and I will post them on december first)
