Quilting Arts TV

“If we're growing, we're always going to be out of our comfort zone.”

John Maxwell quotes

I arrived home yesterday from a very stormy mid west,
I was quite nervous about filming for Quilting Arts TV, thankfully it all went well!
Here is a peek on how it all went:

It all started out at 8am in the make-up chair, I was a little afraid of all the layers that went on my face but I decided to just sit back and let the make up artist do what she wanted

after I received the glamor treatment
I had to set out all my supplies on this big baking tray

then I had to lay it all out on the set table, I was nervous but once I got on set, it became so much easier, because I could tell that ever one really enjoyed there job.

and I really enjoy what I do, so it all some how became easier.

Here I am with Kathie Stull (owner/producer) of the show talking her through the steeps of what I will do.

Pokey did a great job as the perfect host and made me feel at ease during my segment.
I had a wonderful time taping for Quilting Arts TV,
what an amazing and delightful cast and crew! They made the whole experience such a joy!
Quilting Arts TV airs on PBS, follow the link you can find out if they have the show where you live, my segment will not be airing until June when the next session airs.

“Growth means change and change involves risk,

stepping from the known to the unknown.”

Wonderful! Let us know when it airs on tv. I was wondering if you were experiencing snowstorms. I hope someone had a good coat for you to borrow.
I mailed you a little something... to the address you had on your envelope.

How exciting! And nerve wracking! Bet you never had one of those moments in school when you had to speak in front of the class and – – nothing came out!

You kidnapped the make-up artist, right?? Ship her up to my place for a weekend....please?

I wish our paths had crossed while I was there. I think I was at the airport hoping my flight would go out when you were taping. I am glad to see it went well.

You must know that you were beautiful even before the make-up artist embellished you! I like the color of the outfit you wore. Glad you are back safe.

You look so natural! I would have died when the "in air" was lightened!!

Sara the TV part was not so hard, I did something much harder when I was there and I will blog about it as soon as I get the green light from the producers.

Martha the show will be out in June and it’s on PBS. When I know my show number I will post it.

This was a great experience that I have learned so much from!

As for new art from me... soon, I promise!
I have to unpack first and you know I do have that new sewing machine just starting at me!

Congrats, Ruth.

You look gorgeous, makeup or not, it's your smile that makes you look beautiful.
