Oh my gosh, what a beautiful, generous giveaway! Please enter my name and as for the quote, I have to many! So, if I win I will either decide on a short one or I will leave it up to you. You are amazing! Please stop by my giveaway too.
Hi Ruth,
I would love to be entered in your drawing. Your work is always beatiful! As for the words:
"Though torn and mended, my beauty & usefulness remain."
The dress reminds me of a piece of old feed sack material that my Mom somehow still had that belonged to her Mother and that I asked for when my Mom was going to throw it out. It had been used to make a bag, perhaps for laundry, and had been mended several times. I intend to make something with it one day as it seems to still have some of my grandmother's spirit attached to it.
Thanks for the chance to win.
