Life Lines

1328 (life lines)

“But tomorrow, dawn will come the way I picture her,
barefoot and disheveled, standing outside my window

the road ahead.

in one of the fragile cotton dresses of the poor.
She will look in at me with her thin arms extended,

learning to grow

offering a handful of birdsong and a small cup of light."

It was certainly interesting for me to read this post. Thanks for it. I like such themes and everything that is connected to them. I would like to read more on that blog soon.

These are just beautiful! You are a true inspiration Ruth Rae! Bought your Quilting Arts Workshop- Techniques for Mixed Media. LOVE it! I will be making lots of my holiday gifts using many of your techniques. Thank You . And if I remember correctly, your new book is due out in the next few days. Mine is reserved on Amazon, but I may have to go to B & N and pick it up. Waiting for the mail.... no way! Cant wait to see it!
